I have recorded over 3500 songs from old 78 rpm records. CLICK HERE for a list of what is recorded. Many of the titles listed have links to MP3 versions of the recordings. If you see a title you'd like to hear that doesn't have a link, let me know. You can email me from the web page.
ENJOY!

<*********CHUCK E CHEESE TOKENS***************>

to see the 'WITH TOWNS" collection

Chuck E Cheese Pizza Time Theaters
produce their own Video Arcade game tokens.
In addition to being dated, a few of them
had limited numbers of their video arcade game tokens
minted with their town names on them.
This occured from 1978 - 1983 and hasn't been done since.
These are now quite scarce and fun to collect!
A complete collection is very difficult to compile
if you include the test tokens that never had
a regular production run.
Also, these tokens were minted by several different
private mints and each one is a variety unto its self.
A great collectable!
There are over 60 different 'with towns' in my collection.

Here's a neat old song recorded from a 78 rpm record. Has the same
"REALLY LOVE YOUR PEACHES, GONNA SHAKE YOUR TREE"
verse as in Steve Miller's 'The Joker'.
This file is in MP3 format and almost 3 megs so the download will take a while, especially if you have a 56k modem like I do.

This is a great old Blues song by Jack Sheedy's Dixieland Jazz Band from the late 1940's on his own Coronet label, late renamed Koronet. Gambler's Blues is the song that St James Infirmary was based on and this version is especially entertaining.

These are MP3 files, each about 2.5-3.0 MB, so they might take a while to load, but they are worth it.

I found a group of old Arabic 78 rpm
records at an estate sale.
Early Arabic pop, swing, dance music.
I've uploaded about 100 of the songs.
Click the link below to see what is there -

I've also posted pictures of the different Arabic record labels.
They're pretty neat.

Went to another estate sale and found 62 old Japanese 78's
dating from 1910 - 1950's. Lots of interesting stuff,
including post-WWII swing, blues, humor, and pre-WWII
drinking songs, children's songs, and more.

I've posted photos of each of the labels and am currently
attaching links to the songs in MP3 format. You can
view the page here:

P.S. - If you want to help with translation of the labels,
that would be great! Email me at:
JapaneseMusic@cdbpdx.com
All the labels are in Japanese and it would be fun to
know what they say. Thanks!
